The Beaver County Warriors, the "Tri State Area football team" are ready to embark on our forth season in 2008. In 2005 the Warriors started off the new era by going to the AFC division championship game and a 9-2 record. After losing to the eventual USFA champions 16-13 the Warriors were ready for the new year. Receiving a high rating in the National poll we were ranked 18th in the country in "AA" ball and 4th in the Midwest. As part of the USFA at that time the Warriors raised the bar as far as organization structure and team play. Opposing teams knew when they faced the Warriors you were going to have a class organization and a physical game. In 2006 we were ready to make a run at the championship once more the, team chemistry as well as injuries really hurt the team and the championship that was thought to be in reach was not. However it was a productive season, with some of the loses came character as well as leaders emerged in the young team and a family unit was forged. In 2007 off season the organization made a few key changes and began the push to be best team in the Tri- State area. The move from the USFA to the national NAFL "AAA" was a major statement making the Warriors the biggest team in the Tri State area as far as recruiting its players.

The Warriors draw players from Three states and 5 counties. Now a veteran laden team some additional moves were made and we believed that we would make our run at the Lake Erie Division championship. Coming off of a productive 2007 season that saw 14 NAFL All Stars nominees and missing the play offs by one game our organization is poised to now make presence felt in the NAFL In the off season leading up into the 2008 season there has been some significant moves. We have named Keith "Kiki" Humphries the Head Coach and hired new Defensive Coordinator Brendt Spruill. Bringing on an ex-W.P.I.A.L experienced Head Coach as well as an ex NFL player as a defensive coach shows the direction in which or team is headed. All the players that were recognized with post season honors were resigned as well as a host of new players. In addition to the coaching staff new hires we were able to keep coaches Adam Murphy (Offensive Coordinator) Jeff Hutchison (Asst. Defensive Coordinator),Steve Camblett (Special Teams) and Mike Jermusa (Offensive Line Coach). Please stay tuned as we make history one day at a time.
